Gwen grew up in rural
North
Dakota, riding horses and bringing in the cattle at
round up. At the age of 3 she entered her first talent show and has been
performing ever since. Whether it was with her mom and dad with their band,
Midnight Ride, or out on her own, Gwen never gave up the chance to be heard.
After the urging of several A&R representatives in Nashville, Gwen moved to Nashville. Her first performance there was at
the famous Bluebird Cafe where she shared her songwriting talents. Since then,
she has become one of the house bands at the world re-knowned Wildhorse Saloon
and has opened up for Sugarland, The Oak Ridge Boys, Don Williams, Emerson
Drive and Warner Brothers recording artist, Ray Scott. Gwen performs everything
from her own originals to covers by Trick Pony to Patsy Cline. Her voice has
been compared to such stylists as Dolly Parton, Pam Tillis and Lorrie Morgan. Gwen is not afraid to jump out into the crowd and
has been known to somersault across the stage a time or two.
Gwen loves traveling around the country and meeting new fans. She states that "it's the smiles on people's faces that keep me going."
Gwen will open for Sugarland on Sunday, August 10th in the Rimrock Auto Arena at 7pm.
