Animal Cracker Conspiracy (ACC) was founded by Bridget Rountree and Iain Gunn who joined forces to bring their love of puppetry and performance to audiences of all ages in 2006 and have now been wowing audiences for over a decade. Their shared interest and investigation of where fine art, puppetry, performance art, physical theater, and mixed media intersect is a continued source of inspiration for their work. They are known for their ability to collaborate as well as the quality of the performers they work with. People will be talking about their charming and audacious characters for years to come.
ACC have performed at fairs and festivals all over the West and this year are expanding to eastern audiences as well as exhibited at the Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego and Santa Barbara, the La Jolla Playhouse, HEREArts NY, Museum of Photographic Arts SD, and Art Power at UCSD. They have participated in both national and international artist residencies and workshops with the La Jolla Playhouse, Bread and Puppet, North American Creative Laboratories, La Pocha Nostra, RosenClaire, and the Old Trout Puppet Workshop. They have received support from the San Diego Foundation, Jim Henson Foundation, Puffin Foundation, Leo S. Guthman Foundation,
