Exhibit Updates!

With changes on the Metra grounds, we’ve been working hard to prepare for what that looks like for our participants. It is important to us to focus on highlighting our exhibitors. Check out the updates below regarding competitive exhibits for the 2026 MontanaFair!

UPDATES

-Open Horse Show moved up one week - August 1 & 2, 2026. Exhibitors need to use register through a separate link. Enter Dept H here!
-Dept K, P, T will be entered earlier to be judged and displayed in the Pavilion for the Exhibitor Reception
-Exhibitor Reception - August 1, 2026 2-6pm (not limited to art, free and open to all exhibitors and the public) *All exhibits in Departments K, P, T will be able to sell during this time. Learn more here.
*Exhibits that don't place are to be picked up following the Exhibitor Reception, August 1, 6-8pm. Please see department pages for listing of placed items to remain on display throughout the duration of the 2026 MontanaFair, and will be released Sunday, August 16, 10am-2pm.
-Submit photos of your exhibits on this page to be included in the MontanaFair social media album, showcased before, during, and after the event!

What's New!

With the loss of Cedar Hall to the county elections office, the Art Barn is no longer home to Department M. With the move, departments are being reorganized:

Static Departments: Exhibitor fee will be $10 per exhibitor for unlimited classes, but limited to 1 entry/class/person, unless otherwise mentioned (crops and wool)
